The Visionary Behind the AI Coach System
Sami Bugay, a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with over 9,999 hours of coaching experience, is the driving force behind the AI Coach System. His journey began not in AI, but in the world of IT, business, and e-commerce, where he led companies to remarkable success. It was during this time that he experienced the transformative power of coaching firsthand. This inspired him to found The Integral Institute in 2004, with a mission to bring world-class coaching to leaders across the globe. Sami’s unique blend of business acumen and coaching mastery is the foundation for the AI Coach System. He is not just an AI visionary; he is a coach at heart, dedicated to helping you achieve your highest potential.

Founder Spotlight in detail
Before his introduction to coaching and consulting, Sami was in the technology sector. He began his career as a technical expert, later taking on sales and marketing responsibilities before becoming a General Manager. His contributions were instrumental in elevating his company into the top 100 technology firms in Turkey.
In 2000, Sami was one of the three visionaries behind the business model of a pioneering Turkish e-commerce startup. This venture grew to become one of the nation’s leading e-business companies, and Sami later orchestrated its successful merger with another key industry player. In 2004, he took on the role of founding Manager at a prominent IT services firm, establishing its presence in the market.
Sami was initially exposed to coaching in 2002, as part of his own personal and professional development. Having had the benefit of this positive experience, Sami decided to pursue coaching as a profession. In 2005, Sami started building his own leadership coaching and management consulting practice, working with projects and clients individually as well as in partnership with international firms.
Sami received his initial coach instruction as a member of one of the first coach training cohorts in Turkey, and is a Master Certified Coach MCC–ICF, NCC – Certified Ontological Coach over 9999 hours of coaching experience. Having continued his professional training and education over the years, Sami also mentors and develops emerging coaches as an ICF accredited Mentor Coach.
Bugay, the author of Better Leaders Better Teams, an Amazon Best Seller, and ITC – Integrated Team Coaching, is awarded the Outstanding Graduate Award and Lifetime Achievement Award by Gestalt OSD Center Cleveland in 2021 for contributions to the coaching world. He was also President of the ICF Turkey Chapter between 2015–2018.
